Dr. Brian Murphy is the owner and lead chiropractor at Stamford Spine. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from University of Bridgeport, where he also received his Masters degree in Human Nutrition. Along with being a spine specialist, Dr. Murphy has an extensive background in massage therapy and rehabilitative exercise. He is highly trained in the latest conservative muscle and joint treatments. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and Connecticut Chiropractic Association. In his free time Dr. Murphy enjoys exercising and spending time with his wife and two children.
Dr. Lauren Tortorici earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at University of Bridgeport, graduating as valedictorian of her class with Summa Cum Laude honors. She also holds a Masters degree in Human Nutrition. Dr. Tortorici specializes in treating muscle and joint injuries, especially those involving the spine. She is highly trained in joint manipulation and mobilization, myofascial release, postural re-education, and rehabilitative exercise. In her free time Dr. T loves to stay active, and she enjoys running, biking, rock climbing, and practicing yoga.
Lisa Parks has been a massage therapist for over 25 years, having graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 1991. Although she practices many modalities, she specializes in deep tissue massage. She has worked closely with professional athletes and has extensive experience working with cancer patients as they go through chemotherapy.
